Scope
This policy covers the YomuMachi (よむまち) iOS app provided by Huang Codes and its support pages. Updated: 2026-09-08. Contact: support@huangcodes.com.
Learning data on your device
Kana answers, response times, confusion records, learning state and settings are stored on your device. No account is required and there is no developer-operated cloud sync for learning records. The app does not upload your learning records to our servers.
Audio and notifications
Lessons use fixed, pre-generated audio bundled with the app (VOICEVOX Nemo). Playback does not send learning content to the voice provider. The app does not record you or request microphone access. Optional reminders are scheduled locally after you grant notification permission and can be disabled in the app or iOS Settings.
Purchases and Apple services
If you purchase an item offered in the app, Apple processes the payment. The app uses StoreKit to retrieve product information and verify purchase entitlements. We do not receive payment-card details. Apple's own policies govern its App Store, payment and system-diagnostic processing.
Tracking and support
The current app contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDK and does not track you across apps. If you email support, your email address, message and attachments are processed through email services to answer your request and handle necessary security or disputes. Do not send passwords, full payment credentials or unnecessary personal information.
Website visits
Visiting this support website differs from using the app offline. Hosting services may record necessary access logs such as IP address, time, request path and browser information for operation, security and troubleshooting. These pages contain no advertising trackers and do not automatically upload learning records from the app.
Retention and deletion
Local learning records remain until you reset them or the relevant app data is removed. System backup copies depend on your Apple settings; we cannot remotely access or delete them. A reading failure may leave an original file and diagnostic copies on your device; resetting learning does not necessarily remove every diagnostic copy. We retain support emails and access logs only as needed for requests, security and applicable obligations. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion.
Children and changes
We do not actively collect children's personal information through the app. A guardian may contact us about unnecessary child information sent to support. If future features introduce accounts, sync or other processing, we will update this notice before that processing begins and obtain permission where required.
